Second Annual Midnight Fun Run

Healthy Gators 2010 & RecSports invite all students, faculty, staff and guests to participate in the Second Annual Midnight Fun Run on Thursday, April 24 starting at the O’Connell Center. Participants can run a 5K or walk a one-mile “Lake Alice Loop” route. Pre-registration is open through April 21 at Southwest Recreation Center. Pre-registration is $10 for Gator 1 cardholders and $20 for non-Gator 1 cardholders. On-site registration will be available the night of the event for $20. Registration includes a T-shirt, Gators wristband and a hot breakfast at Gator Corner Dining Hall following the run.

UF will host the NCAA Southeast Gymnastics Regional on Saturday, April 12 @ 7 p.m. at the O’Connell Center.

The #3 Gator Gymnastics team will take on:
#9 UCLA
#15 Nebraska
#21 North Carolina State
#25 West Virginia
#34 North Carolina

Come support #3 Gator Softball vs. #10 LSU on Saturday, March 29 at 1 PM and 3:30 PM at the Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium (located on Hull Rd. next to SW Rec.). It is UF Student Day and admission is free! The first 500 fans receive Gator Softball t-shirts courtesy of Gatorade. Also, play Gator Softball Bingo for a chance at great prizes.

Gator Gymnastics fights Breast Cancer

“Gators Link to Pink” Help the Gators Gymnastic team fight breast cancer. UF students can sign up at the meet for a chance to win two airline tickets to anywhere in the US, Mexico, and the Caribbean. UF Club Soccer Tryouts

The Women’s and Men’s Soccer Clubs will be holding their first practices of the semester this week, and are inviting UF students to join the teams. Anyone can join, and tryouts are held to determine A and B teams for each club. The women will be playing at Hume field on Monday, January 14th and Wednesday, January 16th at 6pm. The men will begin Wednesday, January 16th at 7:30pm at Hume field.
