The Office of the University Registrar will be closed: Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 for the Thanksgiving Holidays. There are no classes these dates. Online services will be available.

The Office of the University Registrar will be closed Wednesday, November 11, for Veteran’s Day.

The deadline to drop a class or to withdraw from all courses for fall is Monday, November 23.  To drop individual courses, go to your college advising office to find out the specific college procedures and requirements.

If not, there are several ways to register to vote, and NOW is the time to register — before the deadlines — so you can vote in upcoming elections!

* Florida residents can use the online voter registration application available on ISIS, under My Resources > Personal Info > Voter Registration.

* Non-Florida residents can also use the registration form found on the ISIS link mentioned above. Once there click on, Government Links > U. S.

Elections Assistance Commission > Register to Vote > National Mail Voter Registration form.

If you are already registered to vote in Alachua County/Gainesville and you have moved to another address within Alachua County, you can update your address by calling the Supervisor of Elections office at 352.374-5252. If you are not registered to vote in Alachua County, please notify your county Supervisor of Elections office of your address change.

You will not be allowed to register until you have accepted all of the following:

I will be held liable for fees for all courses that are on my schedule as of the end of the drop add period. Each term’s drop add period dates are available at http://www.registrar.ufl.edu.

If I do not pay my fees or my fees are not deferred by the published deadline, I may be withdrawn with fee liability from all courses. If I am withdrawn, I no longer will be eligible to attend and participate in classes. I also will not be able to register for any future term until my outstanding debt is satisfied.

I am required to update my emergency contact information every 4 months. Failure to update the emergency contact information will result in a registration hold.

The use of any automated program to attempt to add courses or to search sections on the ISIS registration system is strictly prohibited. Failure to abide by this policy will result in a registration hold.

UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA FINANCIAL LIABILITY AGREEMENT I agree to pay all UF debts and charges pursuant to UF policies. I understand that the university is advancing value to me in the form of educational services and that my right to register is expressly conditioned upon my agreement to pay the costs of tuition, fees, and other charges and any additional costs when those charges become due. I understand the university notifies students of debts by email. It is my responsibility to view my charges in my.ufl.edu. I understand that past-due student accounts will result in University registration and services being withheld in accordance with University Regulations. Delinquent debts may be reported to a credit bureau and referred to collection agencies, or litigated. I agree to pay costs of collecting unpaid charges, including attorney fees and court costs. This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with Florida law and any lawsuit to collect unpaid fees may be brought in the appropriate court sitting in Alachua County, Florida regardless of my domicile at the time of bringing such suit.

Last day to drop a course or withdraw without fee liability for fall semester: Friday, August 28 (by 11:59 p.m.)

Students are responsible for all classes remaining on their schedules after the end of Drop/Add (August 28 11:59 p.m.). Please confirm that your schedule is accurate. Verify your fall schedule from ISIS. Under My Online Services > Registration > My Schedule > Fall

If you drop or withdraw after Friday, August 28, you will receive a “W” on your transcript. Review drop/withdrawal policy from the Registrar’s homepage: Registration Processes > Dropping Courses
