UF Homecoming & Gator Growl: Titus O’Neil to Host Gator Growl 2021

UF Homecoming & Gator Growl is excited to announce
Titus O’Neil as the host of Gator Growl 2021. The show will take place on Friday, October 8,
with doors opening at 5:00 PM. Gunna will headline Gator Growl, featuring Neon Trees with
comedian Daphnique Springs.
O’Neil, a Gator at heart, is a former football player at the University of Florida who later
became a professional wrestler with WWE and NXT. Currently, he is the Global Ambassador of
WWE and performs under the Raw brand.
Dedicated to his commitment to charity, WWE named O’Neil “one of the most philanthropic
Superstars in WWE history,” and was named the recipient of the 2020 Warrior Award.
“Last year I had the opportunity to serve as commencement speaker for the spring 2020
graduation, this year I get to host one of the premier events of all college homecoming
experiences as this year’s Host of Gator Growl,” said O’Neil. “ I’m looking forward to working
with The Gator Growl team to showcase one of the many reasons that it’s great to be a Florida
Gator”.
Tickets for Gator Growl are not sold out. Student tickets start at $25 with the unique discount
code distributed through student’s UF emails. General public tickets start at $40. Tickets can be

GUNNA, best known for his collaborations with other popular artists such as Lil Baby and Young
Thug, is signed with YSL Records. His debut album, “Drip or Drown,” sold over 500,000 copies in
2018, followed by his second album “WUNNA”, which became the rapper’s first no. 1 album.
Neon Trees has faced nationwide recognition since 2008 following the band’s tour with The
Killers. Following a signing with Mercury Records, their first single “Animal,” climbed to the top
of the Billboard Hot 100 and became the no. 1 single on the Alternative Songs chart.
UF Homecoming is a festive week-long celebration culminating in Gator Growl before the
football game. Gator Growl attendees enjoy live musical performances, the crowning of the
Homecoming King & Queen, and more to celebrate the university’s achievements and embrace
their inner Gator pride.
Doors will open for Gator Growl at 5:00 p.m., with the live entertainment beginning at 6:15 p.m.
