AL1GN Conference April 9-11

Filed under Events on March 29, 2021.

The Alliance for the Low-Income & First-Generation Narrative (AL1GN) is holding a virtual national conference April 9-11. The program this year, put together by students at The College of Wooster, is centered on storytelling, especially on how being first-generation or low-income (FGLI) students interplays with documented status, queerness, disability and other facets of their identities.

Through a networking event, Discord, and panels and workshops, the aim of this conference is to build community among FGLI students. Undergrads, grad students, alumni, staff, and anyone interested in higher education and economic equity are welcome. You can register here: https://wooster.edu/campus/orgs/special/firstgen/al1gn/ and learn more about AL1GN by visiting al1gnconference.com or reaching out to al1gn.leadership@gmail.com.
