Filed under Newsletter, Opportunities, Service on February 10, 2020.

Hello Gators! UF’s TRiO Student Support Services and IDigBio will be hosting the 2nd annual IDigTRiO Biological Conference on Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22. They are looking for enthusiastic students to assist them on this day. If you are interested in volunteering for the IDigTRiO Biological Conference, please fill out the form by following this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd_NrZUcw3KrBpKXQJpsMTziPB7zzB5WzEgUBDsWxUsB5dTiw/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1.

Here are some ways to volunteer:

-Set-Up: Assist with morning set-up; ensuring tables, signage, and technology are in place

-Registration/Check-In: Assisting with student & staff check-in; distribute name tags & bags, direct students to morning activities

-Workshop Moderators: Aid presenters in workshop experience; introduce speakers at the start of workshop, pass out and collect surveys at the end of workshop

-Breakfast Server: Assist with morning breakfast; help fix plates and/or monitor food distribution.

-Breakdown: Assist with conference break down; ensuring all items are properly place and/or removed.

Needs at the event can arise and change so we ask that our volunteers are flexible to what may be asked of them to help with.

The attire for the event is business casual.
