Class Guitar 1 and 2 (beginner and intermediate)

Did you always wanted to learn how to play the guitar and didn’t have the opportunity?  The time is now! School of Music is offering a new, one credit “Class Guitar” this fall that will meet on Tuesdays during 9th period (MUS 4905 Class Guitar #19725).  The course is open to anyone and does not require any prior experience.  Emphasis will be on the achievement of basic proficiency in chord playing, note reading, strumming patterns and basic finger styles.  A variety of musical styles will be explored.  Students will need to have an acoustic guitar with nylon (classical) or steel strings (no solid body electric guitars) and a guitar footstool.
For students who have taken Class Guitar 1 (beginner level) last semester, you can now sign up for Class Guitar 2 which is the next level class (intermediate). Sign up today and learn how to play the guitar at UF!
