Assembly for Action

Assembly for Action is a community service conference on October 18, 19, 26 & 27, 2019 that strives to promote student leadership in Gainesville’s development. Recognized earlier this year as a “Champion for Change” by the UF Office of Sustainability, this conference experience is focused on four development topics: Environment, Food Insecurity, Affordable Housing, and Health & Wellness. Sixty students of any major or graduating class will be recognized as “Actions Scholars” by the Bob Graham Center and have a chance to win $2,000 to implement their own creative project that promotes Gainesville’s development.
