August 20: Fall classes begin
August 20-23, 26 (by 11:59 p.m. of last day): Fall drop/add
August 20-23, 26 (by 11:59 p.m. of last day): Fall late registration
August 20-23, 26 (by 11:59 p.m. of last day): Fall UF (EEP) and State Employee Registration
August 22-23, 26 (by 11:59 p.m. of last day): Fall non-degree registration
August 26 (by 11:59 p.m.): Last day to drop a course or withdraw without fee liability for Fall semester
Students are responsible for all classes remaining on their schedules after the end of Drop/Add (August 26 11:59 p.m.). Please confirm that your schedule is accurate. Verify your Fall schedule from ONE.UF> Registration> View Class Schedule.
If you drop or withdraw after Monday, August 26, you will receive a “W” on your transcript. Review drop/withdrawal policy from the Registrar’s homepage: Courses > Dropping Courses.
August 30:  Fall residency reclassification deadline
August 30 (by 3:30 p.m.):  Fall fees due by 3:30 p.m. Please contact the Bursar’s Office if you have questions.
Voter Registration
Are you a registered voter in Florida or your home state?  If not, there are several ways to register to vote, and NOW is the time to register — before the deadlines — so you can vote in upcoming elections!
All the information you need is available from the ONE.UF homepage.
Florida residents can use the online voter registration application available from ONE.UF> Campus Resources > Voter Registration.
Non-Florida residents can also use the registration form found on the ONE.UF> Campus Resources > Voter Registration> Register to Vote > National Mail Voter Registration Form.
Florida residents can also pick up a registration form from these UF offices:
Office of the University Registrar – 222 Criser Hall
Dean of Students Office – 202 Peabody Hall
Disability Resources Center – 001 Reid Hall
Housing and Residence Education – Residence Hall Offices and Village Offices
Student Government Office – 305 J Wayne Reitz Union
University Police Department – Community Service Division Building
If you are already registered to vote in Alachua County/Gainesville and you have moved to another address within Alachua County, you can update your address by calling the Supervisor of Elections office at 352-374-5252.  If you are not registered to vote in Alachua County, please notify your county Supervisor of Elections office of your address change. UF encourages you to register to vote. Make a difference.
