UF Public Policy Day

Are you interested in consulting, public service, non-profit work, or a job in the public sector? Chomp the Vote in partnership with the Bob Graham Center, The International Center, CLAS, Beyond 120, The Political Science Dept, the College of Journalism and Communications, the Career Connections Center, and Civic Duty present UF Public Policy Day. This event will feature over 20 universities with public policy and administration programs, including the University of Chicago, Tufts, John Hopkins, Columbia, and many more, as well as top employers from the public sector and private sector relating to policy. This event is open to all majors, and they will be showcasing policy professionals and programs and their applications to law, economics, media, health, technology and many other sectors. The event will take place in the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom on March 21. There will be a university fair from 9 – 11:30, a lunch for all students and attendees from 11:30 to noon and panels of admissions directors from top universities from noon to 1 p.m. From 1 to 2, they will host a professionals panel and from 2 – 5 p.m. a career fair with all of their attendees. They encourage all attendees to bring a resume of their work and academic experiences, as recruiters and admissions directors will be present at the event to provide students with feedback.
