The UF Women’s Student Association is proud to welcome the incoming class at our annual Women’s Welcome Assembly! We are inviting all new and old Gators to see what WSA is all about!
This year we celebrate women who Set the Standard – a powerful message to young women that we can start changing norms by demanding respect, justice, and equality in all aspects of our lives.
We will have several notable speakers including the Assistant Director of Multicultural and Diversity Affairs: Diana Moreno, Faculty English Professor: Dr. Debra Walker King, the Director of the Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Clinic: Teresa Drake, and our very own President Fuchs. The event will also feature musical and dance performances as well as free snacks and beverages.
Join us on Tuesday, September 4th at the Reitz Grand Ballroom. The doors open at 6pm and the event kicks off at 6:30.
We would love to see you there!
