37th Annual Dog Days Run 5k

On October 13th, 2018 the University of Florida’s Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) is hosting the 37th Annual Dog Days Run. This is the oldest and most popular race in Gainesville. The event includes a 5K race, a one-mile “fun run” for dogs and their owners, a free T-shirt for participants, a raffle, and other contests. The 5K begins at 8AM with the one mile “fun run” taking place directly after, or 9AM. Dogs are encouraged to participate in all events and walkers are welcome. Additionally, all proceeds go to the Josh and Friends Project (joshandfriends.com).
