Starting in Summer B 2018, all first-time-in-college (FTIC) students entering all Florida College System (FCS) and State University System (SUS) institutions must demonstrate competency in civic literacy by the time they graduate, per Florida Statute 1007.25 and Florida Board of Governors Regulation 8.006.  If you are a beginning student entering UF in Summer B 2018, Fall 2018, or Spring 2019, please refer to the following web site for more information about how to comply with this state regulation: http://undergrad.aa.ufl.edu/for-students/ .  For answers to additional questions you might have about this requirement, please see your academic advisor (http://www.ufadvising.ufl.edu/college-advising-contacts/) or email Dr. Angela Lindner, Associate Provost for Undergraduate Affairs (alindner@aa.ufl.edu).
