The University of Florida’s Black Student Union and the Women’s Student Association are hosting a collaborative ceremony in which our organizations conclude the celebration of Black History Month (February) and launch Women’s History Month (March). As such, it is with great pleasure that we announce Black History Month’s Closing Ceremony & Women History Month Opening Ceremony themed “Together We Shine”  taking place on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in the University Auditorium. They are even more excited to announce our keynote speaker, Angela Rye, the NPR political analyst and political commentator on CNN! It would be of great honor for you to accompany us on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. The event doors will open at 6 p.m., the ceremony will commence at 6:30 p.m. and end promptly at 9 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Hope to see you there!
