Do you have an ACL injury?

Filed under Academic & Research, Opportunities on February 4, 2018.
The Applied Neuromechanics Lab is requesting participants for a study examining
cognitive function and lower extremity biomechanics following an ACL injury and
reconstruction. Participants must be between the age of 18 and 35 and have sustained
one ACL tear and surgical reconstruction. Participants will be excluded if they are
currently injured, have had a serious injury within the last year, or have had a previous
surgery to their back or lower extremity (aside from reconstruction). Individuals will be
asked to perform a battery of cognitive tests, an angle matching task and visuomotor
adaptation. Testing will be completed in one visit and is expected to take roughly two and a half
hours. For more information, contact Amanda Stone at stonaman@ufl.edu.
