Volunteer Roundup at Norman Hall

We know you’ve been looking far and wide for the perfect volunteer opportunity. Look no further than the Inaugural Volunteer Roundup Thursday, January 18 at the College of Education.
Thursday, January 18
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Norman Hall Courtyard
Hosted by the Education College Council and UF Student Government, this event is designed to create connections between community organizations who frequently request assistance in recruiting College of Education students for volunteer opportunities with the students who are seeking volunteer opportunities through organizations that align with their interest. Participating organizations need volunteers with an interest or experience in working with children as mentors, tutors, coaches, or in theater and the arts.
Participating organizations include:
*   Kids Count
*   Girls Place, Inc.
*   Harn Museum
*   Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County
*   Education Foundation
*   ACES in Motion
*   Gigi’s Playhouse
*   Balance 180 Gymnastics & Sports Academy
*   The ARC of Alachua County
*   Children Beyond Our Borders
*   The Florida Museum of Natural History
Special guests include Love on a Leash therapy dogs and UF’s very own Alberta the Alligator!
