UF Global Health Holds 5th Annual Case Competition

This year marks the fifth consecutive year the University of Florida will be holding its intramural Global Health Case Competition. In the past, UFGHCC has provided the opportunity for students from various colleges and departments all throughout campus to come together to both elaborate and present creative solutions to relevant Global Health problems.
Typically, the event is comprised of 8 teams of 5 participants each, and each team will have an opportunity to present their proposed solution to a panel of faculty judges with extensive expertise in the topic.
Below are important dates regarding the competition:
Applications open: Dec. 4
Deadline to submit application: Dec. 15
Acceptances released: Jan. 5
Kick-Off Meeting: Jan. 17
Competition: Jan. 17-20
Final Presentation: Saturday, Jan. 20
Awards:
1st place: $750 per team and a chance to compete at the Emory International Case Competition
2nd Place: $500 per team
3rd Place: $250 per team
