Students invited to participate in the AVP/Dean of Students Search

Following a national search, the University of Florida Division of Student Affairs will bring four candidates to campus to interview for the role of Associate Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the on-campus interviews and provide feedback through a presentation session and an open session for students.

Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017

  • 10 – 11 a.m. – Open Forum Presentation for Students, Faculty and Staff (The Chamber, Reitz Union)
  • 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. – Student Forum/Q&A (2335 Reitz Union)

Candidate: Dr. Vicki Dobiyanski

Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017

  • 10 – 11 a.m. – Open Forum Presentation for Students, Faculty and Staff (The Chamber, Reitz Union)
  • 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. – Student Forum/Q&A (2335 Reitz Union)

Candidate: Dr. Heather White

Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017

  • 9 – 10 a.m. – Open Forum Presentation for Students, Faculty and Staff (The Chamber, Reitz Union)
  • 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. – Student Forum/Q&A (2335 Reitz Union)

The open forum presentation will be videotaped and posted on the search website so those who can’t attend in person will have the opportunity to provide feedback.

The other candidates’ interviews are schedule for after Thanksgiving Break to ensure maximum participation from students, faculty and staff.
