Filed under Opportunities, Service on June 5, 2017.

The University of Florida’s Office of Admissions is hosting its summer 2017 Open House on Saturday, July 22 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. They are seeking student volunteers to assist with the facilitation of the Open House program. Open House is designed to provide students and their parents with a comprehensive overview of the admissions process, a glimpse of campus life, and access to academic guidance and opportunities for college planning. Volunteer roles are but not limited to directing attendees from the hallway to particular meeting locations, directing attendees to meeting spaces located in buildings outside the Reitz, staying in the meeting space rooms to help presenters to hand-out papers or to assist with AV equipment. Volunteers may be asked to station themselves in the parking lot reserved for attendees and direct them to registration tables. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. If you are interested in volunteering for Open House please send an email to Jemima Francique at jfrancique@admissions.ufl.edu with your first and last name, email and phone number.
