Filed under Academic, Events on April 9, 2017.

Please join us on April 13 at 2 p.m. in Emerson Alumni Hall. Dr. Cathie Martin is a group leader at the John Innes Centre, Norwich, U.K. and Professor at the University of East Anglia. She researches into the relationship between diet and health and how crops can be fortified to improve diets and address the global challenge of escalating chronic disease. This work has involved linking leading clinical and epidemiological researchers with plant breeders and metabolic engineers to develop scientific understanding of how diet can help to maintain health, promote healthy aging and reduce the risk of chronic disease.
