Gainesville March for Science

Gainesville will be hosting a satellite March for Science concurrent with the Washington DC March on Earth Day, April 22.   The march is a nonpartisan event with the goal of highlighting the importance of science and science education to the continued well-being of our society.  Participants will meet at 10:45 on the lawn north of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and will march to Bo Didley Plaza downtown.  Following the march there will be a rally in the plaza with guest speakers and science demonstrations.  For more information see:
