The School of Education is holding its 2nd Annual Research Symposium on March 30, 2017. Join us for the Symposium Keynote Speech given by educational historian Dr. Adam Laats from Binghamton University (SUNY), at Norman Hall Auditorium, Thursday March 30 from 6 to 7 p.m. In his talk, “Can We Have Dialogue When We Disagree? Exploring the Roots of our Educational Culture Wars,” Dr. Laats explores the roots of these campaigns. What has it meant to be “conservative” about education?  And what can the history of educational culture wars tell us about today’s tumultuous school politics?
