Florida Mascot Audition Date Set: April 1, 2017
Auditions for the 2017-2018 Florida Gators Mascot Program will be held on April 1, 2017 in the Press Deck on the west side of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Members of the program have exclusive access to Gators athletics and assist with Albert and Alberta at all events. All members are expected to perform with the highest level of dedication and commitment. All Mascots must be current University of Florida Students with a minimum 2.5 semester and cumulative GPA or higher and must have full-time student status. The typical time commitment for a Mascot ranges from 3-15 hrs/week. Mascots must be able to store equipment at their residence and transport equipment with their personal vehicles to appearances throughout Alachua County. All rounds of auditions and the New Member Meeting are closed to the public. Individuals must be available to attend the entire audition; no exceptions will be made and no video applications will be considered. Cuts are made periodically throughout the audition process. All new members are required to be in Gainesville, FL on June 22, 2017 for their new member physicals; no exceptions will be made.
