Student Health Interdisciplinary Program (SHIP) is a campus-community outreach program with the mission of bringing undergraduate and graduate students from various disciplines together to volunteer at local elementary schools and after school organizations in at-risk/low income neighborhoods.  More specifically, SHIP volunteers teach third through fifth grade students about the fundamentals of health and safety, as well as coach them on how to live a healthy lifestyle. SHIP seeks to increase quality of life through the delivery of age-appropriate activities that promote healthy behaviors and instill hope for a better, brighter future for Alachua County youth. Applications for SHIP will be available until January 19. To apply, please fill this form
