Florida Genetics Symposium

The UFGI Florida Genetics Symposium features speakers from around the world who present and discuss genetics and genomics topics, organized into three focused sessions. This year’s keynote speaker is Emmanuelle Charpentier. More than 130 students will present their research and findings during two poster presentation sessions. Poster session winners will be awarded certificates and monetary awards. It takes place Nov. 30-Dec. 1, 2016 at the Cancer and Genetics Research Complex.

The event also features a T-shirt design contest, with a chance for a $100 prize. The contest is open to the UF and Gainesville community.
