No matter how you vote, we’re all Gators.

During this election season, you are invited to support civic engagement in the swamp with the following events:

Tuesday, November 1

  • Student Government Panel on Preeminence and the State of the Campus from 5:30–7:30 p.m. in the University Auditorium
    Hear from President Fuchs, Provost Glover and VP for Advancement Tom Mitchell about UF’s efforts to become a top-10 institution. Then, Student Body President Susan Webster will discuss the impact that Student Government has made on campus so far this year.

Wednesday, November 2

  • Conflict Resolution Clips from 7:30-9 p.m. in Reitz Union Room 2365, with pizza provided.
  • Transportation to Early Voting
    In collaboration with the Andrew Goodman Foundation Vote Everywhere Ambassadors and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service, there will be free transportation to the polls on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shuttles will provide roundtrip transportation for UF students from the J. Wayne Reitz Union Breezeway to the early voting polling site at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 515 N Main Street. In addition to the free shuttle service, pizza, activities and giveaways will be available for participants to enjoy while they wait. Thursday, November 3

  • Civic Engagement Fair and Meet the Candidates from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Reitz Union North Lawn Entrance.
    Students will have the opportunity to talk to student organizations that are civically engaged, as well as meet with candidates running for office to represent UF and Gainesville at the local state and federal levels.
  • Conflict Resolution Trivia Night from 7-9 p.m. in McCarty B G086, with cookies and brownies provided.

Friday, November 4

  • Friendly Competition Game Night from 5-7 p.m. in Reitz 2355, with Chick-fil-A provided.
  • SGP Get Out the Vote Concert with the All-American Rejects at 7:30 p.m. on Flavet Field.
  • GatorNights from 6 p.m.-midnight in the Reitz Union.

Tuesday, November 8
