Two UF elections experts, computer science Professor Juan Gilbert and political science Associate Professor Michael McDonald on Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. in the Pugh Hall Ocora.

Gilbert leads UF’s Human-Experience Research Lab and he and his team led the development of electronic the voting technology, Prime III, which enables voters with disabilities to participate in the electoral process.

Michael McDonald’s districtbuilder.org website is helping to depoliticize the redistricting process by putting the ability to draw voting districts in the hands of the people. His U.S. Elections Project is a valuable resource for those interested in real-time voter turnout data.
