Recruiting Female Participants for Yoga Study

Filed under Academic & Research, Opportunities on September 18, 2016.

Are you interested in feeling better about your body? Sign up to take part in Project Yoga – a research study about whether practicing yoga helps college-aged women think and feel better about their bodies. They are seeking women who are 18 – 30 years old, have little or no previous experience practicing yoga (i.e., attended fewer than 4 classes in the past 6 months), are physically able to participate in beginner yoga classes, and will be available during the spring 2017 semester to attend yoga classes on campus 2 times per week (several class times/days are available). Classes are led by certified yoga instructors and will be provided at no cost. Compensation may be provided. For more information, contact Aviva Ariel at 352-273-6016 or
