The Inclusive Fitness and Unified Sports program (IFUS) is a community-based participatory research program that aims to increase the quality of life of students with intellectual disabilities and volunteers. Volunteers work together with the students as exercise buddies and participate in fitness and sport activities. The program meets on campus from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly. Volunteer positions are open as workout buddies. Work-out buddy applications close September 6 at 11:59 p.m. To obtain more detailed information regarding the program and how to apply, please visit this link https://ufl.collegiatelink.net/ and type in Inclusive Fitness and Unified Sports.
