SG Elections

Fall Student Government elections will be taking place September 27 and 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.  These elections will determine the 50 senators that represent the various living areas here at UF. Qualifying and Slating for Senate will occur in the Reitz Union, Room 3315, Thursday, September 1 from noon to 6 p.m., Friday, September 2 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Tuesday, September 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For students looking to learn more about Student Government elections and how to possibly run for office, are welcome to attend the informational meeting on Tuesday, August 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the chamber located on the ground floor of the Reitz Union.

Students can vote at polling locations on campus or to take advantage of UF’s absentee ballot process.  The application for absentee ballots is now live and will be open until September 14 at 5 p.m.  If you are interested in applying for an absentee ballot you can find more information on the UF SG elections page at www.sg.ufl.edu/GetInvolved/Elections.  If you have any questions about the upcoming elections you can email the Supervisor of Elections, Eric Hobbs at elections@sg.ufl.edu.
