Avoid a Trip to the Help Desk, Update Your Info!

A security enhancement coming to the GatorLink system July 10 will require a two-step process to reset forgotten passwords or to complete the annual password renewal. The two-step process will require all GatorLink users to enter an authentication code that is sent via phone call or text before changing a password. To prepare for this, be sure to log in to myUFL and check that your correct home phone or cell phone is listed in your Directory Profile.  You can check by navigating to Main Menu > My Account > Update My Directory Profile. If a correct phone number isn’t available, you’ll have to take the time to head to the UF Computing Help Desk with your photo ID in order to complete a password reset.
