Weekend Warrior: Sports Performance Training

How do you get better at sports? Although the strategy component of a competition is important, this session will focus on skill development and teach you the necessary components such as: explosiveness, lateral movement, agility, hand-eye coordination, reaction time, etc. Join personal trainer Alvaro Cedano on April 16 from 1 to 2 p.m. at SWRC.

  • Identify different types of training programs to enhance sports performance
  • Understand basic biomechanics of different sports and understand how to efficiently apply them within a session
  • Program sport-specific exercises into their daily routine
