The Women’s Affairs Cabinet will host “Everybody for Every Body,” an event that will bring students together to promote positive body image, focusing primarily on social media use. The event will be held at Norman Field on Wednesday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m.
Students of all backgrounds and genders are invited to bring a mat/towel, sit out on Norman Field and take part in a discussion on social media use and body image. The discussion will be led by University of Florida instructor and Ph. D. candidate in communication Nicki Karimipour. Following this talk, a UF RecSport instructor will lead an uplifting yoga session. At the end, free Popsicles will be provided by Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops.
