Filed under Opportunities, Study Abroad on February 2, 2016.

Experience life in tropical Mexico! Hike through caves, sleep in a hammock, visit ancient Maya archaeological sites, and travel to contemporary Maya villages. Take a boat trip through the mangroves, sample Yucatecan cuisine, and live with a Mexican family in the beautiful, modern city of Mérida.

You will experience all this and more through the University of Florida/Autonomous University of Yucatán (UADY) Summer B Program in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. You will receive 3 credits of Spanish, 3 credits for Tropical Ecology, and 2 credits for Humans and the Environment of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Join program director Dr. Mark Brenner to learn more about this unforgettable opportunity. The info session will be held Thursday, February 4 at 5 p.m. in Little 119. Past participants will also be at the info session to share their experiences.

Email Dr. Brenner at brenner@ufl.edu if you are unable to attend, but would like more information.
