Behavioral Medicine And Health Psychology Research Teams Are Looking For Undergraduate Research Assistants

Research assistants gain “real world” training related to the delivery of patient-centered culturally sensitive healthcare and health promotion with the ultimate goal of reducing health disparities. All members of Dr. Tucker’s research team learn how to conduct culturally sensitive, community participatory, qualitative and quantitative research by being involved in all aspects of the research process.  Research assistants assist with projects related to the Health Disparities Research and Intervention Program (HDRIP) at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
