Filed under Opportunities, Study Abroad on November 16, 2015.

Join Dr. Mark Brenner, director of UF in Merida, and Honors advisor Regan Garner to learn more about UF’s longest-running study abroad program. They will co-host an information session with past participants this Friday, November 20 in the third floor conference room of the Student Health Care Center (302 Infirmary) at 12:50 p.m.

During this summer B program, you will hike through caves, sleep in a hammock, visit ancient Maya archaeological sites, and travel to contemporary Maya villages. Students live with a Mexican host family in the beautiful, modern city of Mérida. Participants receive 3 credits of Spanish, 3 credits for Tropical Ecology, and 2 credits for Humans and the Environment of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Email Dr. Brenner at brenner@ufl.edu if you are unable to attend but would like more information.
