Registrar Reminders

The deadline to drop a class or to withdraw from all courses for fall is Monday, November 23 (11:59 p.m.).

If you miss this deadline you must petition with your college, documenting extenuating circumstances or university error, as to why you missed the deadline. After the last day of classes a petition to the University Student Petitions Committee is required.

Students can use the new “Student Initiated Drop/Add” service to request a course drop (or add) by visiting > Registration > Request to: > Drop a course(s). Once you initiate the course drop(s) (or add), the request will be routed to the appropriate approval authority for a decision.

To drop individual courses, undergraduate students may also contact their college advising office to find out the specific college procedures and requirements.  Graduate students contact their major department.

To withdraw from the term (all courses), students are instructed to visit > Registration > Request to: > Withdraw from all courses for the current term.

Fall commencement information:

Faculty course evaluation period opens on November 24. Dates can vary by course, so check GatorRater at to verify.

The Office of the University Registrar will be closed Thursday, November 26 through Friday, November 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
