NewtoUF: Liberation

Filed under Cultural, Events on October 19, 2015.

NewtoUF is a discussion group offered by LGBT Affairs that provides a safe space and open dialogue for LGBTQ+ students new to campus or new to their identities.

Liberation: the act or state to be free from the control, imprisonment or oppression of another entity.

This week at NewtoUF, we will be discussing systematic oppression, factors of limitations, times of distress, and how we have, or can, overcome these challenges. They will also discuss the power of self-love. Why? The true question should be: why not?
