Tallahassee Internship Information Sessions

Filed under Internships & Career, Opportunities on September 1, 2015.

The ten students from UF who interned in Tallahassee last spring would all agree that it was a very valuable
experience. They would also say that they never realized what an impact the Florida legislature had on their
daily lives.  Go to their Website at http://www.bobgrahamcenter.ufl.edu/students/internships/tallahassee-internship  to learn more about this program.

Participating students should ideally be juniors or seniors (we will consider sophomores on a case by case basis).
Your major does not matter as long as you can make the case that you have what it takes to get the most out of
this internship. The program provides a stipend of $ 1200 (we cover all the costs of your housing).
If you choose to find you own housing, we will provide you with $3660 to cover costs.

Information sessions will be held as follows: Wednesday Sept. 9 at 4:30 p.m.; Monday Sept. 14 at 5 p.m.; Thursday Sept. 24 at 3:30 p.m. in Pugh Hall 210. At least one of last spring’s interns will be at each sessions to give you their perspective on the program.

If you have questions,  email Dr. Dickison at doctord@ufl.edu . Deadline for applications is Thursday, October 1.
