Office of Sustainability Collection Day

Filed under Athletic & Health, Events on April 20, 2015.

Let the UF Office of Sustainability help you ‘green’ your spring cleaning!

Whether you’re a student moving out or a faculty/staff member tidying your home or office, the annual Collection Day event makes it easy and convenient to get rid of unwanted household items, hazardous waste, old electronics, furniture, appliances, books, UF assets/electronics, and more.

Usable items will be donated for use in the community, and damaged goods, hazardous waste, and electronic equipment will be recycled or disposed of safely and responsibly by our local partnering organizations.

Collection Day will take place on Wednesday, April 22 from 7 a.m.  to 1 p.m. in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center parking lot – making it easy to drop off items on your way into campus.
