Control Flu Assistant Program Coordinator and Internship Applications

Control Flu is seeking Assistant Program Coordinators (paid) and interns (unpaid position) to help plan, implement, and evaluate Alachua County’s School Influenza Immunization Program during fall 2015.  They provide dynamic internship opportunities, giving insight and experience in healthcare promotion and disease prevention.

Applicants should be dependable individuals interested in public health who are able to dedicate 10-20 hours a week and have reliable transportation for field work.  Interns will be working with staff and faculty at the Emerging Pathogens Institute, College of Nursing, and professionals from the school district/health department.
