Askew Scholars Program

The Bob Graham Center is accepting applications for the Askew Scholars Program. The program will identify an outstanding cohort of spring semester sophomores, selected on the basis of their commitment to community service and civic engagement. Undergraduates from any major at UF may apply but students must be in their fourth semester at UF in spring 2015 (not counting summer semesters). The GPA requirement is 3.5 and above. Those selected for this program take several courses in public policy, receive intensive leadership training, and will work with a mentor to help prepare them for a life of public service. Graham Scholars will also receive a scholarship of $3,000.00 to support a significant civic research project which will culminate with the submission of a senior thesis and/or scholarly journal article.
