Author of Restless Fires, Dr. James Hunt, will talk about Conservationist

Dr. Jim Hunt, author of Restless Fires, will present on March 20 at 2 p.m. in the Reitz Union, room 282,. Restless Fires chronicles John Muir’s historical 1,000 mile walk through the Civil War ravaged South and provides unique insight into the legendary Conservationist’s views of humans and nature. Muir’s insights are a memorable history lesson, as well as, his understanding of how human beings fit into the environment. Presented by the School of Natural Resources & Environment Graduate Council and co-sponsored by NSF-funded Innovation through Institutional Integration (I-Cubed) program.
