Gator Allies 1.0

Gator Allies is an educational opportunity offered by LGBT Affairs that focuses on relevant issues that affect the LGBTQA community, while offering the opportunity to engage with the question, “what does it mean to be an ally to the LGBTQ community?”

From these trainings participants will be able to further their understanding of heteronormativity and homophobia, and how it affects everyone; further their understanding of what it means to be an ally to the LGBTQ community; and increase their awareness and understanding of current LGBTQ issues, while being offered skills and resources necessary to becoming an ally.
