Apple announcements about new product releases always generate major buzz.   However, before you use next month’s rent money for an iPhone 5, be aware that the default settings on new Apple iPhones, desktops, iPads, and iPods mean you are saving everything to iCloud.   How could that affect you?  You may think you are saving texts, photos, and docs to your phone or iPad hard drive, but you’re really putting it on iCloud, Apple’s storage solution.  Recently Macs have been very susceptible to virus attacks.  So, make sure you know how to change Apple’s default settings – learn where your personal and school work is going when you “save” it!
