Keep Your Full UF Wireless Access Capabilities

Filed under Administrative, Information Tech on August 27, 2012.

If students want to maintain their full Internet access capabilities to UF services such as e-Learning, they must meet the minimum requirements stated under the new wireless access policy.

With destructive malware attacks reported daily every effort must be made to protect UF’s networks–networks that carry research data, administrative information, and student records. This is why security enhancements were made to the UF network, such as checking that devices connecting to Wi-Fi have up-to-date anti-virus software and firewall protection. The check also serves as a reminder to users that their files and personal information are worth protecting, too!
