Global Medical Training Summer B Meeting

Filed under Opportunities, Study Abroad on July 30, 2012.

There are many organizations at UF that give you the opportunity to travel abroad… so what makes Global Medical Training (GMT) unique?

Students learn about health disparities abroad and gain cultural competence, a valuable skill for any to-be health professional. You’re able to volunteer in under-served communities in Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Panama or India, while learning from excellent physicians and dentists.

Trips are offered during the UF winter and spring breaks, and in between summer A and B. GMT has fundraising opportunities throughout the semesters to help you fundraise for your own trip. Visit ufgmt.com and send any questions to lhossain26@ufl.edu. Come out to their summer B meeting this Thursday, August 2 at 6 p.m. in Rinker 215 to hear testimonials from students who went on their summer Panama trip.
