Autism Symposium in the Swamp
All faculty and students are invited to attend the first annual “Autism Symposium in the Swamp” on Friday, April 20 from 7-9 p.m. in the HPNP Auditorium. This event, hosted by IMPACT Autism at UF, a student run not-for-profit organization, will feature an interdisciplinary panel of experts from fields including; Speech and Occupational Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, Medicine, and Education. Artwork created by individuals with autism spectrum disorders will be on display and up for auction at the event to raise money for UF’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities. The UF Department of Occupational Therapy will be offering CUE credit for this event. Refreshments will also be provided.
