Study Abroad Information Session: Summer B in Merida, Mexico
There will be a brief information session today at 4 p.m. for the UF Summer Study Abroad Program in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico (June 25-July 28, 2012). Students who attend the program receive five credits of Tropical Ecology and three credits of Spanish, the latter offered at multiple levels. There are no prerequisites. The Tropical Ecology class is field-oriented, with classes Monday through Wednesday and 3-day excursions each week. Spanish classes focus on practical use of language for travelers.
All students are welcome, regardless of major, and this is a great way to fulfill summer residency and “gen ed” requirements. The information session is in room 302 Infirmary (conference room). Contact Dr. Mark Brenner at email@example.com for details if you are unable to attend.
