Biodiversity and Planning in New Zealand

Filed under Opportunities, Study Abroad on October 15, 2009.

This experiential program introduces students to New Zealand’s unique flora and fauna and to local and national efforts to conserve and restore biodiversity. Based in Christchurch, students take a variety of day and over-night field trips and interact with planners, scientists, landowners, Maori, and city/regional representatives that are implementing conservation strategies.  This program will take place over Summer B 2010.
