Women’s Mentoring Program

Filed under Leadership, Opportunities on September 25, 2009.

Are you an undergraduate woman seeking guidance in your field of study from someone that has personally experienced it? If so, then the Women’s Mentoring Program is for you.  The Women’s Mentoring Program strives to create a more supportive learning environment on the University of Florida campus by providing undergraduate women with the tools and guidance of those who have truly “been there,” encountering and confronting many of the stigmas faced by women in their various leadership roles. The Women’s Mentoring Program will work to partner up all participants with a mentor in their field, allowing them to establish bonds and working relationships with each other. For applications and more information on the Women’s Mentoring Program please visit the Dean of Students website at www.dso.ufl.edu/studentorgs/wlc/mentor.php .

Applications are due September 25, 2009. If you have any questions or would like to submit a complete application please contact the Women’s Mentoring Program Director, Nicolle Vasquez at nvasquez@ufl.edu.
